- M's little Rei Novarra 6 Speed given away to a BBC member - ACox had dibs but no use for it
- Giant Rain Bike has been put back together, given yellow handlebar tape and is destined for NY after NOT selling on Craigslist.
- Can't seem to even GIVE away the purple GF, no interest on CL or word of mouth - maybe for parts? Even with the nice selection of commuter parts included, no bites.

Why the reductions? I was shopping for a F/S again after panicing about my sore back from a Tamarancho+Pine Mountain loop. This turned into Tandem shopping when I realized B would not go along with a $4-5K bike for Daddy alone, and I got upsold at MTBTandems.com to a Fandango.

Also MIA are the Chinese "Light Carbon" Wheels for the FM166. Sort of getting annoyed there.
HC100 training is underway. I should be able to survive it if I can keep enough water in me. Trying to practice riding without a backpack - 2 cages on the Scott, and a saddlebag for tubes and tools. Pump mounted on cages is a little tenuous. I am following a pirated coaching plan, sort of. A 7.5 hour ride gave me confidence, and an ACox back program is getting my back stronger every day. Backup brake pads, new Maxxis Ardent tire on the rear, might try a new chain/cassette too.
I am looking forward to NOT training for the HC100, nothing like a race to ruin a perfectly good ride.
